Damage to undersea cables in the Red Sea causes significant disruptions to internet networks

Last Monday (4), HGC Global Communications , a Hong Kong-based telecommunications company, announced that four main submarine cables in the Red Sea had suffered damage.

These incidents resulted in significant disruptions to the region's internet communication networks, affecting up to 25% of traffic between Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
