Director of the Unmanned Aircraft Systems Competence Center at Bauman Moscow State Technical University Ales Loginov told a ComNews correspondent what exactly the university will be doing as part of the cooperation: "We will be developing technologies for autonomous control of UAS based on artificial intelligence, components based on domestic components, and control systems for UAS power plants."
for the industry: "Bauman paraguay whatsapp resourceMoscow State Technical University annually graduates about 5,000 specialists, some of whom work effectively, including in the UAS industry. Most of the graduates of technical specialties are immediately ready to find employment as UAS specialists."
Deputy Director of the Mass Acceleration Department of the NTI Platform ANO Sergey Sinegubkin noted that universities have recently begun to actively participate in the development of the UAS industry: "The involvement of universities is reflected in the information and analytical digest "UAS Projects on the NTI Radar". As of July 2024, 561 university UAS projects from 116 universities were recorded on the NTI radar, with 126 projects appearing since the beginning of 2024. Seven projects on the topic of unmanned aircraft systems were reflected from Bauman Moscow State Technical University."
Nikita Danilov, CEO and founder of Fly Drone, reminded that the personnel problem in the industry remains relevant: "Unmanned aerial vehicles" is a very young industry that is in the process of formation. It is in dire need of specialists. At the same time, there is no general concept for personnel training yet. There are also gaps in the regulations regarding training. Accordingly, graduates of higher education institutions who come to unmanned companies have to be trained on the spot for specific market tasks, based on its current realities. But the problem of personnel shortage is not solved only by universities. Training of specialists should start from school. However, due to the existing restrictions on drone flights in many regions, problems with practice arise. And theory alone is clearly not enough here. However, the industry personnel shortage in the future can be partially compensated for by those who participate in the SVO and received serious practical skills there."
Ales Loginov also spoke about training personnel
