Products can be uploaded to Multimarket manually or via a product feed. A feed is a special file that describes the assortment of an online store. It contains and structures products and their attributes, i.e. the characteristics that we see on the product card: picture, name, description, price, link. Product feeds are usually compiled by programmers. They pull information from the product card from the website into an Excel or YML file. The file is an intermediary between the website and the platforms.
Setting up a feed
It is useful to work with a feed if you have a lot of products, you make line data discounts or the product may be out of stock. There is an auto-update option - it checks all the information and looks for changes in the feed. That is, if the feed is loaded with a link, you can change it on your own store website. Let's say a promotion has started and the price has changed - you can change this price only on the store website. During the next auto-update, Multimarket will see the price change in the feed, the data will be synchronized and the price will change on all sites.
Auto-update can be set once every 4, 12 or 24 hours. In Multimarket, you can upload a YML file via a link or a feed that is used in Yandex Direct or VK companies.
