Are there any evaluation criteria in place when selecting ideas

Matsuoka : How do you come up with the initial idea (product idea)? Osugi : There are two patterns. One is for ideas to come up within our brand team, and the other is for an idea contest to be held within the company. When the brand team develops ideas, they come up with dozens to hundreds of ideas based on consumer needs and insights. From there, the brand team will polish the ideas and finally put them to the test.

The idea contest is open to all employees. Matsuoka : I think there are many different ideas in the 100 proposals. Do you have free direction for the ideas? Or are you clearly told to "come up with this kind of idea"? Osuga : I don't iran whatsapp number data provide direction, but we use a common format sheet. We ask them to submit a one-page summary of the product, including the product image and how to communicate with consumers.

Matsuoka : Osugi : We create evaluation criteria for each of the design, communication, and SNS trends, and select the products. The evaluation criteria include novelty, scalability, market size, feasibility of development (ease of development), and whether they can be sublimated into the brand purpose. Finally, we conduct a survey of consumers and then decide whether to sell the product. Similarities with the contingency purchasing design framework "CRISP model" Miyamae : Listening to your story, I get the feeling there are many similarities with the "CRISP Model," an incidental purchasing design framework that we advocate in our book, "Accidental Purchasing Design.
