Video recording of construction defects, shortcomings,

Representatives of the Federal State Budgetary Institution RosStroyKontrol spoke about the launch of the "Pusk" system and video recording of construction violations using drones at a press conference.

"Funding for the project launch has already been planned. We are waiting for the results of test operation. Our expert team has approved that this is a convenient construction control tool. Until now, despite electronic document management, many documents were on paper. We needed to completely switch to an electronic environment. Therefore, from July 1, 2024, we will launch the "Pusk" system into full operation," said Vladimir Shcherbinin, General Director of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "RosStroyKontrol".

Deputy Director General jordan whatsapp resource for Digital Development of the Federal State Budgetary Institution RosStroyKontrol Sergey Belov spoke about the goals and objectives of the automated system: "The system will primarily perform the function of increasing the efficiency of construction control processes. Everything that happens on the construction site will be displayed in the "Pusk" system. This could be, for example, photo and video recording of violations. All shortcomings are entered into the system. It already checks and closes violations; quality control for all objects; tracks the status of violations, documents, instructions; generates and approves documents; fills out checklists for the availability of documentation; analytics. Thus, we are creating a single information space containing complete, up-to-date and reliable information on the implementation of construction control functions."

and violations is carried out using drones that operate at construction sites. In the future, RosStroyKontrol plans to use a neural network that will generate a methodology, algorithm, and flight route around a construction site in advance. Thus, the agency abandons the human factor in favor of automation.

Sergey Murzilin, Director of the Instrumental Control Department of the Federal State Budgetary Institution RosStroyKontrol, believes that automation of processes will help make human work easier: "We calculated using a specific example: flying around one floor of a polyclinic under construction takes 10 minutes. This is several times faster than searching for construction defects manually. Accordingly, the time for production work will be reduced. An employee can calmly go to headquarters, hold meetings and process the results of video recording in the system. But at the same time, we will not completely replace people with artificial intelligence. Collecting data on defects is only the first step in a large chain of actions. Then, based on this data, you need to assess how critical or acceptable the violations are. This will be done by a person. Data collection using drones is only needed to speed up the process and eliminate the human factor in cases where, for example, an employee may miss some violation. We will ensure that the camera captures absolutely all defects. Further actions are up to the person."

Vladimir Shcherbinin confirmed the purpose of using drones: "The drone itself is not intended to replace the inspector, but to improve the quality and productivity of labor. We are not going to replace all employees with robots. Maybe someday this will happen, but certainly not in the next decade. The role of a person remains paramount, because a person is a professional who thinks outside the box. A robot cannot do that. Therefore, a drone is an assistant to the inspector to improve the quality and productivity of labor. Then the person only has to sit down at the computer, process the received data while minimizing possible errors. His work will largely take place in the "Pusk" system, where a knowledge base will be formed that will teach artificial intelligence to competently recognize certain defects that may be made during construction work."
