The prevalence of oncological diseases in Russia is growing rapidly. According to the results of last year, 7.5 thousand people in the Tyumen region were diagnosed with oncological diseases for the first time, while two years ago this number was 28% less. The most common diseases were malignant neoplasms of the mammary gland, skin and body of the uterus in women, as well as the prostate gland, trachea, bronchi and lungs in men. However, the detection rates also indicate a positive trend in the Tyumen region - the improvement of oncology diagnostic methods and an increase in the number of preventive measures for the population.

The development of this iran telegram direction was a new initiative implemented by the St. Petersburg IT company TechLAB, which develops digital healthcare services for state medical organizations in 16 regions of the Russian Federation.

Thus, on November 14, a new pilot project to increase cancer alertness using artificial intelligence was launched in the Tyumen region. City Polyclinic No. 8 in Tyumen is participating in the pilot project. Over the next six months, the clinic's doctors will use a new service with artificial intelligence - Galenos.AI from the IT company "TechLAB", which helps analyze alarming symptoms and detect oncology at an early stage.

"We have developed a digital solution based on artificial intelligence, which can be used by both patients and primary care specialists: therapists and paramedics. The service is aimed at identifying signs of oncological diseases before they manifest themselves. This allows us to promptly refer patients to an oncologist, and most importantly, improve the quality of their further treatment, because the time and accuracy of diagnosis play a huge role in the effectiveness of therapy," said Vladimir Rudchenko, Business Development Manager at TechLAB.
