Google Ads Account Overview

A Google Ads account isn't just one account with a bunch of ads. So let's start with a high-level overview of its key components:

Account: This is the outer shell that houses your business and payment information .
Campaigns: Campaigns house ad groups. You can only have one ad type (e.g. Search vs Display) in a campaign, but you can (and should) have multiple ad groups within a campaign, and overseas chinese database you can (and should) have multiple campaigns within a single account.
Ad Groups: These contain your ads and keywords and are grouped by topic.
Keywords : These are the terms you want to trigger your ads to appear on the search engine results page ( SERP ).
Ads: This is the actual copy and creative that appears in the SERP.
