Divide the task into several steps

Post by suchona.kani.z »

Plan how much time you will have to work on each step.
By focusing on each step individually, you will avoid the overwhelming feeling of a complex task, especially when working with deadlines. Also, by breaking the task down, you will be able to better analyze and fully understand it, and also be able to develop the most effective strategy to complete it.

What do those who fall into the procrastination trap say?
Try to think of a time when you were a victim of procrastination. A project you couldn’t start, a task you couldn’t complete.

Now try to remember what were the sentences switzerland email list you said to yourself at that moment.

They probably looked something like this:

“I don’t have enough time, at this point I’ll start tomorrow.”

“I’m too tired today, I’ll start tomorrow and I’ll be more charged.”

“It’s too late now, we might as well do it tomorrow.”

“The closer to the deadline I will be under more pressure and will work better.”

All these are just excuses, typical of those who usually procrastinate, or those who find themselves procrastinating only from time to time. In any case, if you are reading this article your goal is to fight procrastination, to stop always putting it off.

Finding a justification for procrastination is always very easy. Our mind is able to invent dozens of excuses, consciously or unconsciously, to justify our inability to act at a given moment.

Yet, read any biography of the most successful entrepreneurs and they all have one thing in common: they act NOW. Not later, not tomorrow. Now. They take action when they have to, even when they are tired, when they don't feel like it, or when they don't have enough time. Why wait until tomorrow when you can do it today?
