Customization options
Customizing your form typically includes setting up notification emails, configuring form submission confirmation, and the look and feel of the form itself.

In the following sections, we will analyze the different customization options offered by the two plugins.

Contact Form 7 – Customization Options

Customization options are not the biggest strength of Contact Form 7. While the plugin allows you to customize notifications and confirmation messages, it does not allow you to customize the appearance of the form.

During our testing, we found that Contact Form 7 allows you to customize the default settings for email notifications from the “Mail” tab.

Please note that you can only use the tags in the form labels to edit the mail template. Don’t worry denmark telemarketing data about switching back and forth between the “Form” and “Mail” tabs, because Contact Form 7 has included all the tags you can use in this tab.

One good thing about Contact Form 7's notification customization option is the mail (2).

We like this feature because it encourages you to set up an automatic response after a user submits a form. An automatic response might look like this: “Hi, we received the contact form you submitted on our website. If that’s not you, please ignore this message.”

Then, in the “Messages” tab, we discovered that it is possible to create confirmation messages.

There is a long list of fields with ready-made confirmation messages. However, you can edit them and use custom messages based on the given situations.

You can enter a custom code in the “Additional Settings” tab, and some knowledge of coding can be helpful here.
