New car sales have fallen – new directions need to be developed

Over the past three years, the company has been constantly considering options for launching new products to expand its scope of activities. And when the pandemic affected the market for new cars, which were the main and most profitable area of ​​the Autospot aggregator, it became clear that it was high time to actively develop new services.

The goal at the start is to launch several additional services in MVP format to reduce risks when selling new cars and gain new opportunities for earning money and developing the business.

Thus, Autospot opened several areas not directly related to the selection viber data of new cars: trade-in and selection of used cars, loans and leasing, technical maintenance. It was decided to test all these services first in order to track the return and prospects of each product.

Special attention was paid to the direction of maintenance - since there are fewer opportunities to buy new cars, it is necessary to service the car fleet that already exists. In Russia, there are more than 50 million cars and a significant part of them will not escape maintenance and repair, the need for which will only grow as they are used.

Autospot was one of the first to launch the new service and began to help car owners find the best offers for maintenance in a couple of clicks. However, the team faced certain difficulties when implementing the project.
