Step 3: where you can define what type of pixel you want and give it a name. There are several types of conversion pixels you can create (and their names are self-explanatory):
* Leads (for lead generation forms) * Registrations (for signups)
* Add to Cart * Checkouts * Key Page Views (if you want to track visits to a specific page) * Other website conversions (anything you can think of, perhaps a download or a newsletter signup).

You'll need to create a pixel for each different conversion on your website (for example, a newsletter subscription and payment require two different pixels).

Step 4: Once you've created each pixel, Facebook will ig data generate the JavaScript that needs to be placed on the website, and it should go between the < head > and </ head > tags in the code.

You'll need to add the code to the page that displays immediately after the conversion occurs (for example, a thank you page after a purchase, or a dashboard page after registration, etc.). The key is to install the pixel on a page that indicates success, so Facebook knows the conversion actually occurred.
