If you use Facebook ads, you'll probably agree that they're slightly addictive. It's easy to waste a lot of time obsessing over CPC increases and trying to understand why people aren't clicking on your cute cat ad if you put it in the right-hand column.
Facebook's own reporting tool, with its almost infinite possible combinations of column sets, metrics, and dimensions, doesn't help much either.
So, to make marketers' lives easier, we decided to put together a short list of metrics to watch with breakfast.
Why eat breakfast? Because breakfast is the most important chinese thailand data meal of the day. If you skip it, you'll probably be hungry all morning. The same goes for metrics: if you keep track of the ones that matter, you'll save yourself headaches and confusion.
Confused by Facebook Metrics
Guess who didn't look at the metrics with their breakfast this morning?
More Metrics, More Problems
CTR, CPM, CPC, reach, impressions, clicks, unique clicks... the list goes on and on. These are the metrics displayed every day on your Facebook Ads dashboard. They're important metrics, but most of the time they can't accurately help you understand whether you're achieving your campaign goals. If you base your campaign optimization decisions solely on these metrics, you're unlikely to get the results you want. Why? Because these metrics only scratch the surface: you may have a high click-through rate (CTR) and a low CPM, or cost-per-click, but are the people who see and click on your ads actually doing what you want them to do?
