It’s been a difficult year for many employees, particularly those working for companies like Meta, Amazon, and Google. What this means is that there are a lot of talented people out there looking for jobs and a budget reduction in hiring. This puts the power in the hands of employers and it’s up to candidates to stand out from the competition to land an interview.
“When you go to see an employer, don’t just talk about what you can bring to the job now. You should also highlight some leadership and make an employer more curious about what you can bring to their business in the future to elevate it,” said Terry Payne, Global Managing Director at Aspire in a DMI podcast.
