In the meantime, as Deputy CEO, Director of the Department

During the conference "Digital Day: Attraction of Digital Development Leaders", Deputy Chairman of the Board of PAO "Moscow Credit Bank" Sergey Putyatinsky called the consolidation of the domestic IT market an inevitable process. He emphasized that the situation when there are several dozen operating systems or virtualization hypervisors on a not very large local market cannot continue for long and in the next five years at most the number of players in these albania whatsapp resource market segments will inevitably decrease. According to Sergey Putyatinsky, the emergence of clear market leaders will significantly accelerate the consolidation process, as well as active real import substitution, which the commercial sector has not yet truly begun.

of Infrastructure Solutions and Services of JSC KROK Incorporated Valentin Gubarev noted, not all vendors offer products that are truly in demand by the market. Also, in his opinion, the practice of 2022, when vendors actively "traded roadmaps", has not been completely eliminated: they promised to implement certain functions in demand by customers, and then did not meet the stated deadlines. But on the other hand, Valentin Gubarev called the positive side of import substitution the fact that it is easier to build relationships with Russian developers at the team level, influencing the development of products in the direction needed by potential customers. Also, according to him, many Russian products allow you to supplement basic functions with plugins that integrators can develop themselves, and this opportunity is very often in demand during projects.

Big Data Association President Anna Serebryannikova agreed that high variability is disadvantageous for the market and this situation will not last long. In her opinion, the downside of this phenomenon is poor optimization of Russian software, which increases the requirements for expensive and scarce equipment.

Andrey Kryuchkov, Director of Development of Technological Partnerships at Cyberprotect LLC, called high variability a source of great difficulties for developers: “In 2021, we supported just over 30 products, while in 2023 we have to provide the ability to back up 75 operating systems, virtualization hypervisors, and DBMS. This creates an additional burden on developers and technical support.”

Alexander Akishin, Commercial Director of Orion Soft LLC, added in a commentary for ComNews that high variability creates many difficulties for customers, primarily by dispersing the efforts of IT service employees on testing a large number of solutions. At the same time, he noted that not all Russian products have a sufficient level of maturity. Alexander Akishin gave the example of one large metallurgical company, where when testing not even all Russian virtualization hypervisors presented on the market, but only nine, it turned out that only three products were able to start up immediately.

According to Alexander Akishin, those vendors that will remain on the market are those that, firstly, will be able to build cooperation with others, and secondly, will invest more in development. Cooperation, in his opinion, will allow building a full-fledged replacement for ecosystem solutions that the market lacks after the departure of foreign players, and investments in promising developments will provide a multiplier effect. Those who neglect investments in development, as Alexander Akishin warns, risk hopelessly falling behind and leaving the game.
