How to register on eBay to sell?

Post by asimd23 »

Now, knowing how the platform works will surely leave you wondering: “How do I register to sell?” This can be summed up in 5 steps:

Create an account.
Link your active PayPal account (for customer payments).
Add your credit or debit card details (for eBay fees).
Complete your registration information.
Manage your account funds.
1. Create an account
Visit this page and select 'Personal phone library Account'. Fill in your basic contact details. You can also use your Facebook, Google or Apple account to do this.
Fill out the form that will appear with your complete information.
Create your account.
If you click on 'Create your listing', you can start uploading products and listings.
There are two types of sellers on eBay : individuals with personal accounts, which are natural persons, while companies must be legally established entities.

2. Link your active PayPal account
Your eBay sales will be deposited into your PayPal account, so it's important to link it (or create one first, if you don't have one). Once you have your PayPal username (we recommend that it has the same name as your eBay username) you just need to log in to the system and confirm the association.

3. Add your credit or debit card details
To cover sales commissions and expenses, you need to register a credit or debit card. In the form we mentioned in point 1, the platform will ask you for the card. If you have not completed it, now is the time to do so.

4. Submit your registration information
After completing the form, you need to click on the 'Submit registration information' button, which will approve your application. As always, please agree to the payment terms of use.

5. Manage your account funds
eBay will deposit your customer payments through PayPal, and PayPal will then send them directly to your debit account linked to that account.

In the 'My eBay' area, you can see the balance in your eBay account, as well as the status of your sales. Please note that eBay will retain sales-related fees and charges from your earnings before paying you for each transaction.
