In Spain, the great unknown

The director of Gammera Nest reviewed the crucial role of this sector in the economy , and has highlighted the role that this industry plays right now.
The metaverse report developed by BeConfluence also dedicates a section out from company IP addresses . Of the total, small and medium-sized companies in our country represent 32.7% of searches, which demonstrates an interest in learning about these virtual worlds.
For her part, Carmen González, Brand and Brand Intelligence Director at PONS I lebanon number data P, has indicated that the metaverse poses numerous challenges , including technological and legal ones, but also offers infinite possibilities.
Entertainment, as the report says, is another sector, along with IT and telecommunications, marketing and communication and retail, that concentrates more than 50% of searches in Spain . Juan Marí Guillot, CEO of Virtual Real Management, has talked about his experience in the development of the metaverse. “ The main barrier is technological. Nowadays, nothing beats the real experience, but it is a world to be built and in which we must be present.”
Shortage of professionals
Experts have stressed that there is a shortage of professional profiles for this industry. “There is an intention to train 45,000 people in Spain in the coming years to cover the lack of qualified personnel,” insisted Asensi. “We must do it well to train our future professionals,” added Sánchez.
Nuria Marcos, general manager of PONS IP , was in charge of presenting the conclusions of the day. “We have a great opportunity as a country to lead the generation of knowledge and opportunities in the new era that comes with the metaverse. We must take on the technological and legal challenges and not miss this train,” she concluded.
