Once you’ve created your story, or retrieved it from your archive, tap the “heart” icon at the bottom right of the story, then tap “Add to your highlight.”

To create a new collection of highlighted stories, you have 2 options:

From your profile, click the “+” icon next to the “Highlights” section ;
From the story you just made, or from your story archive by opening the story you are interested in, do as before, then click on the heart at the bottom right. But instead of selecting an existing collection, click on “new”.
